why don't they grind fingers?

They will wear away your fingers because they are a lot softer than glass and your skin will flex around the bit .















































You will see it as more a "wearing away" of the finger more than a grinding because your skin is soft and will flex over the bit lightly before any real damage is done, unlike glass that does not move at all.

Gee, if you hurt your finger, I believe putting your finger in your mouth is a bad idea.
