Hello, I am totally new to flower gardening and to stain glass, but want to combine the two!  Yrs ago I made glass pendants with copper foil, so a little familiar to soldering.  I want to make some pretty stain glass garden stakes for my garden.  Can I make them with the copper foil method or do I need to learn up on lead came?

Thank you!

Foil should be fine, Dee.

And welcome!

Copper foil stands up well outside.  A couple of my students have been doing garden stakes lately.  I think I have a few posted on my glass facebook page at facebook.com/annabelleartglass.  I would just post pictures of their stakes here, but I don't know how to attach a photo to a post.
