OK, so not to do anything by halves, my first project is 3 round windows .. .need to have then fitted into timber frames and ideally secondary glazed: the first one I did under instruction and its copper foil: should I place lead came around the outside to strengthen it (its 600mm diameter?)
Since I need to get the timber windows constructed: what size spacing should I be asking for the rebates given that one is on copper and the other will be simple clear glass?
Will copper foil suffer the same from condensation .. i.e if I were to triple glaze it will it suffer from moisture the same way a leadlight would..
Is there any way of secondary glazing SG to improve the insulation of the entire window?
is there any benefit to lead over copper for this size of window..
very very grateful for any advice here.. thank you in advance,
