Hello,

I'm new to the forum and fairly new to stained glass.

My girlfriend and I took a beginners stained glass class about six months ago and we're both hooked.
I've made a couple stained glass panels, but this is my very first 3D project and I'm really happy with the way it turned out.

There is no "pattern" for this piece. I just looked at a lot of pictures and tried my best make it proportionate and to scale.

Thanks for looking!

That's so cool. I love that you captured the proportions so exactly to what's presented in the movies.  Spot on!

Thanks so much for looking and for all the kind comments!
Capturing the proportions was the most difficult task.
I drew up the plans, starting with the fuselage, and then added wings and other pieces by trying to make them relative in size.
I looked at a TON of pictures on the internet.

It will be a birthday gift for my son, who is a huge Star Wars fan. ;)

Glass tubing.
It wasn't easy to find!
