Does anyone know if painting glass can be done with non-fusible glass?

In other words, if the fusing at perhaps 1000 degrees of single pieces of glass can be done on

plain old cathedral with no regard to coe.  One piece of glass would never come in contact with another piece.

You can paint and fire on any glass: temp is usually more in the range of 1200 - 1225. Some glass will change characteristics when fired but not a simple cathedral. As always, a gradual annealing and cooling is of primary importance.
